  1. I watched the film "My shoes" and i can say that it's really poignant, it forced me to think
    I realized one things:
The grass is always greener on the other side. People often look at rich or famous people and envy them. They forget one thing- Don’t judge a book by its cover. Often you know really little about them. You don't know what they went through or may be they have really big weaknesses.
Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes and you can realize that it is not so simple and good to be this person. As an example- the boy from movie with physical disabilities.
You should to count your blessings. It's impossible in this life to have ALL you want. But may be you have a really great thing, let us say something talent or opportunity.. You shouldn't be sad if you haven't something, you should use that you have.

  2. The movie was extremely useful to me. Thanks to it I reflected, about modern society. Now many people envy each other, allegedly "the grass is always greener on the other sidе." Example of that the boy from the movie which envied richer boy. But you shouldn't forget that we don't reflect that at other people life too isn't so easy. Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes, it and explains my previous thought. Seeing happy people, we often go in cycles in the our problems, and we don't think that these people are happy because cope with them. Therefore it is worth remembering don't judge the book on a cover and count your blessings. The movie was poignant, but at the same time it helped me to reflect and understand that all problems are solved

  3. I was so impressed by this film.It was very poignant.
It's so important to count your blessings, Unfortunately, people don't understand that. Life s full of difficulties. And what? Everyone have to concetrate on all the good they have. How about put yourself in someone else's shoes? Could you deal with that? I guess not. You never know what concerns and problems are in their lives.Do you think the grass is always greener on the other side? You're totally wrong. Walk a mile in someone else's shoes. Life is more positive than negative, isn't it? Just remember this. It's all depends on you. Look at the disabled boy, he is smiling.

  5. Today on English lesson we watched the short film “My shoes”. It’s moving, and it enabled me to think about it.
I think, that main theme of the film is that we mustn’t judge the book by it’s cover, because we all have our own life and it is best for us. But most people do not want to understand that. They don’t count their blessings, so they can’t concentrate on the positive things. But everyone can put himself in someone else’s shoes and understand that his life is not so bad, like he thought.

  6. "We are aliens in a foreign land"
I remember one quote what really makes sense: "I have just woken up. Still alive. That's why the day is perfect". You will ask - why is it so perfect? Nothing has happened! But you can walk, you can breathe and feel the morning's air, the freshness from the young autumn wind... You can live. When isn't it the biggest and the most important gift? Cheesy wishes like, for example, the new pair of trainers - do they really need to be exchanged on legs? That's why we should cherish only our lives and don't wish to be someone else. We must think twice before put ourself in someone else's shoes. That was the main idea of that short, but very poignant video.

  7. Film actuates to think about life. As the saying is " Don’t judge a book by its cover"! For example if someone starts to smile it doesn't mean that he is happy right now.Maybe something happened but he will never say it to his friends, family..Maybe this problem is connected with parents or school. Usually at that moment you start to imagine your perfect life without problems and their solutions..
Nevertheless, people start to realize this life and they understand that the grass is always greener on the other side.
Film shows that people have to value what they have.. You dont know what could happen tomorrow, or 5 hours later.. You have to appreciate and respect every second of your life and be proud of it!

  8. This short video was quite actuating. I think that after watching this film every person should to think about what he have and how important it is. I remember one song. Try walk in my shoes. Actually it's a perfect tittle to this story.
In addition, the vid isn't so corny and it's very important, cause a lot of this kind of films "when you need to think about" are sentimental or very depressive.
Maybe it's sounds a little bit cruel but the story isn't so poignant as it seems. Boy's dream came true - he's rich now. And other guy can walk. Is this a justice, isn't it?
Just cherish your live and count your blessings :)

  9. I was really impressed by film "My shoes". This film is very poignant. The main idea of this film is "Don’t judge a book by its cover". Sometimes people look like rich, happy and very lucky. But we know not so much about them. We do not know what problems they have. May be this person, who is smiling right now, have problems with his family or with his health. We cant know it.
Try to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes and you will see, it is not so easy to be that person. That’s why we should think many times before try to put ourself into someone else's shoes. We have to appreciate our own life. That is the main thing.

  10. This film is amazing! The grass is always greener on the other side - this is the main idea of this film. Don't tell that you are terrible! All people have problems, not just you. If you have problems, you can try to fight with you problems and you can win this battle! Be who you are,be happy and always smile! Never give up and just try and try. Remember, that our life is hard and we cant get all easy.

  11. This film is very poignant, moving and philosophic. The grass is always greener on the other side. We must be careful with our wishes. We need to live our life. We have to fulfill our karma.
It's our choose,do you want to be healthy but poor or you want to be rich but disabled... We have to be grateful for that we have now.
Why can't boys just enjoy the beautiful nature around them, birdsong, sunshine.
Look around you, you have all what do yo need! First of all you can see, you can enjoy the nature, but someone can't...

    1. On English lesson we watched a short movie "My shoes".I was really impressed by that video. It was so moving and poignant that i still think about that story. The main idea of this film is "Don’t judge a book by it's cover".All people are jealous about something they don't have, but other have. U can see be jealous about how other look, how they r dressed, how much money they have and other things. But u don't know everything. What is goin on? What is inside? What is on human mind? When we buy a book, yes we can read the content, but we still don't know what's inside. So we judge it by it's cover. The same thing happens with people. Most of them are trying to build some perfect model, but nobody is perfect.U just have to be yourself.

  13. I was really impressed by film "My shoes". This film is very poignant. Now many people envy each other, the main theme of the film is that "the grass is always greener on the other sidе".But is that always right? Let's take the film story. Two boys met each other at the park. One of them was rich, the other was poor. Poor boy got jealous, about that fact. So he started to pray that he wants to be like the rich guy. But he didn't know that the boy was disabled. Do you still think that the grass is always greener on the other side? I think you're wrong.

  15. It's a quite common topic these days. Young directors often take such topics. However, the film makes you think and look at ourselves. "Do not judge a book by its cover" - in the beginning I felt sorry for the boy in old shoes, but then I realized he was just a selfish. People become fixated on their problems and make them much bigger than they are. Look around and you'll know how small your problems are.

  16. I was very surprised by this film. Its so poignant, but i cant name this film corny. We must to "count our blessings", not to think, that "grass is always greener on the other side". If we can "put yourself in someone elses shoes",and we will understand, that no one has an excellent life. All people are different. Now i know one important thing "dont judge a book by its cover". Like this rich boy. He looks happy, but no one know, that he is sick.

  17. "You must being grateful for what you have at the moment". - the main idea of this movie.
I watched this movie about 3-4 times and I get goosebumps everytime.
I want to talk a little about movie.
The poor boy was very sadly because he thinks what his life was terrible, but he can't even imagine what it can be much worse. He thinks only "I want to be rich" "I want good clothes" etc. He is being bullied by his classmates or just other guys because he looks like homeless. It reminds me a good quote "Don't let 'em say you ain't beautiful"©Eminem. When poor boy noticed rich boy he was jealous that rich boy has a nice clothes, but rich boy was jealous that poor boy just can walk and he doesnt care how good his clothes are. But the poor boy doesn't knew what the rich boy had physical disabilities and he can't move. Don't judge a book by its cover, right? He knew nothing about the rich boy, he knew only what he had a nice clothes, no more. But he already dreams to be him. So, dreams come true, isn't it? What poor guy has now? Money ? YYes, he has money. Nice clothes ? Yes, he has clothes. But now he can't move anymore. It's worth it? Of course not, in my opinion.
You dont have to pray about something what someone's has. As i said at the beggining, you must being grateful for what you have atm. You must live like today was your last day.
Remember, every second counts 'cause there's no second try.©Nickelback

  18. This video very much surprised me, because I didn't expect such sad end. Unfortunately, many people judge the book by its cover. When the person sees in other person something better than at himself, it starts representing itself, as it, but appearances are deceptive. I saw all this in this video.
The boy who was badly dressed, wanted to walk a mile in shoes of other boy, because his shoes was better, than at it, but he didn't know that beautiful cover - doesn't mean that inside everything is good. For example, I never judge people on appearance, for me the main thing that at the person inside. And this video once again confirmed in correctness of my thoughts.

  19. This video was very exciting. I watched this video on English lesson. Theme of the film is that:2 boys met each other at the park.Poor boy envied the rich boy. But he is wronged when he prayed to God. As we say:Don’t judge a book by its cover. It is better to to know more about the person! Despite the fact that you corny -you must live! Life is given to the fact that you got what you want!! This video very poignant.

  20. This short video made me think about many things. Firstly, the grass is always greener on the other side. So if we wanna live a really good life, we have to appreciate our blessings. It's cheesy and easy. Secondly, don’t judge a book by its cover. Before we formed the first impression of someone, put yourself in someone else’s shoes. Cause we never know what this man has lived through. Thanks to this film, I started to look at people and the world differently. And now for me is necessary to find out about person and then I can have something to say about it. All in all,I'm very grateful that i got chance to learn something new.

  21. When I watched the film "My shoes", I was very surprised. In only 4 minutes I was very impressed with a deep meaning of this film. Expression approaches to this movie "Don’t judge a book by its cover"
It is much better to have feet, than new and expensive shoes. It is important to rejoice to that you have because at other people can not be that you have. In the conclusion I can tell that it isn't necessary to look that other people have, it is necessary to look that you have.

  22. When I watched "My shoes", I was very impressed, cause when I saw that the rich boy was disabled, I realized, if you see that grass greener on the outher side, just try "Put yourself in someones else's shoes" and "Don’t judge a book by its cover"
All things have positive and negative sides, this movie is very moving, i think. It makes me think about our lives, that money don't makes our happy, somebody need's something cheesy to be calm and good, like leggs in that movie
Be happy and try appreciate what you have!

  23. Movie "The shoes" make you thing about your wishes, about yourself and your behaviors. "The grass is always greener on the other side."- is a main idea of this movie, but it's not a last idea of film. Everyone can find answers for the any questions, everyone can come to any conclusion and everyone can feel himself differently during watching the movie.
Conclusion: This film must watch everyone, who want find answers for the him questions.

  24. When I looked this film I at once thought about that as far as it look like our life. Unfortunately, majority from us is not appreciated then what is had and often looking at life of other people think that in them place to live it would be simpler. I consider that if a man looks happy it does not mean that he is happy actually. We must pay attention to those things it was lucky in that to us and not to forget to thank a fate for it . This film compels me to be thoughtful about that is necessary to be valued then what you have presently .

  25. I watched a movie "My Shoes". And what can i say? The movie was very-very short, but so poignant, really! I was not able to guess the ending. And when i saw the ending... I was very surprised. I don't know why. Perhaps, I thought the film would be trite. Yes, probably, because of this. So...

"The grass is always greener on the other side", I immediately thought of this expression. People always think they would be happier in a different set of circumstances. Some people are envious of others. It's the wrong decision. I remembered another expression. It sounds like this: "Don’t judge a book by its cover". Nice expression, yes? I also think. Someone will say that this film is useless, but I do not think so.

  26. After watching this video I realized some important things.I have never thought how much does is mean to live your life without wishing something that belongs to other people. People often want everything better. Everything like other people have, but nobody puts themself in someone else's shoes. Poor boy from the video wishes at least better shoes than he has right now. He does not see good things around him, he does not understand a lot. He has an abbility to see, hear, talk and even walk. Many people can not do these things, they are blind or deaf and their dream is to hear a voice or just to see some colours. Another boy from the video wants to walk. Poor kid judges a book by its cover and asks god to change places with rich boy. Well, the miracle happens and poor boy puts himself in rich boy's shoes. Now he realised what mistake he had done. 28. How often we think about the values of life ? Agree, not too often! After watching this short film I was like I came back to earth. No, really. We don't think about such things until we ourselves collide with this or just see these social problems. That's why people often turn just close eyes to it. Not because they don't have a heart, no. Because they don't have interest to walk a mile in someone else's shoes. It's very sad that our society becomes ''blind'' year in year out. What about me? This film was very useful for me and it was very impelling and keenly distressing to the feelings. It's very useful to watch some films like this cause when you are thinking little bit about life, that you are very lucky, you have legs, fingers ... some people don't have them...

In this video clip I saw not real but very close to the truth story . This story shows that "Don’t judge a book by its cover." Much people think that "The grass is greener on the other side. " ,but is not so . Like this video , much people want be by someone other and this is not good. Human want to live each day to rejoice , but unfortunately in nowadays all is not so good as would like to.

  30. The context of this short video is very strong and emotional, it has brought many thoughts into my head. People might have many insecurities when they are kids, mainly they are afraid of being teased. For some kids the main problem might be the poverty and shame for wearing old clothes, when some of young people don't care about wealth because they suffer from serious disabilities. The main character of the video was too concerned about his look and forgot there is more things in life to enjoy. Happiness is different for each and the main lesson that the video is teaching us is to cherish every simple thing we have and never be jealous to others.

  31. In this short video, that lasts only 4 minutes, is laid a very deep meaning, which is very relevant to the modern world, where material wealth of human took the first place, and spirituality loses its meaning. The idiom "Don't judge a book by its cover" describes very well the idea of this video, because something that is beautiful on the outside, is not always the same beautiful inside, and may have its own disadvantages. Every man should appreciate what he has and who he is, and be grateful for that because he is the only such as it is on this planet.
